CABIN
The Club owns a small hunting cabin, Camp Odell, in
the foothills of the Catskills near Kerhonkson, NY. The cabin sleeps eight and,
for Club members hunting or fishing in the area, it offers a handy place to
gather before going out for the day and then meeting afterwards to prepare a
hearty meal and swap stories of the deer taken or the fish that got away.
The cabin is located in the Catskills and is next to the Rochester State
Forest Preserve that provides approximately 4,000 acres of woods and streams
for hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, off-roading, bird watching, camping,
small and big game hunting. The cabin is available to members year round for
a nominal fee.

After hunting all day, Camp Odell is a welcome sight.

Work parties of members convene at the cabin regularly to maintain and improve
the property. Over the past few years, some of these improvements have included
indoor plumbing with hot and cold running water in the kitchen and bath. |
